Eva Caridi was born in Corfu, Greece in 1972, in a family where art impregnated the walls of their home as her father; Spiro Caridi is a painter. This environment formed the artistic talent Eva displays today in her ground breaking work. She has studied at Academy Julien in Paris under Almo Del Debbio and she is an award winning artist, (among others golden medal at Florence Biennial in 2005). She has exhibited her work in vibrant cities such as Paris, New York and London. The artist tells about her work “I see form as an accessing of meaning, as a material holding of the ephemeral and the poetic. I mine the physicality and psychology of the material seeing in them an expansiveness and a capacity to evoke sensorial experience”.
